Apple Head Dolls
If you've never made or seen these, they are so sweet and simple. They're also kind of mesmerizing with their shrunken head qualities. I used to make these every fall in my youth, and revived the craft with my own kids and friends. It's really cool to see the old faces emerge and to display them with details of hair, glasses and whatever your imagination tells you. They won't disappoint and you'll want to make them and share them with all your favorite friends and neighbors. Make them now and they'll be ready for Halloween ! You'll carve one with us, and I'll have some dried and ready to decorate so you'll learn how to make them and be ready when yours is finally dried and ready to decorate; and you'll have a finished one to take home !
