Basket Weaving ~ Easter Baskets
What a wonderful tradition ~ to have made your own family's Easter Basket !! This is a fairly large, fine quality Harvest Style Easter Basket which can be used year round or saved for that special Spring event ! Come and be amazed at what you can do in three hours ! We'll have some pastel reed colors for accents as well, and ribbon to make a sweet bow. You'll go from never having woven a basket, to making a gorgeous, functional, piece with your very hands. You will be so impressed with yourself ! This basket is really a beautiful treasure made with a Japanese style oval base, #1, #4 & #6 round reed, flat reed accent, closed border, twisted handle. Fun and Easy pattern with beautiful results! 9.5" long, 8" wide, 4" tall to rim. Adult Beginner level. All materials are safe for food handling. We will patiently take you through the process of weaving these elegant creations that you can either keep or share as a treasured gift.
