Essential Auto Maintenance ~ In, Under and Around the Hood

Taught by one of Boston's finest young auto mechanics, Learn to diagnose small issues with your vehicle, repair and maintain the essentials without having to depend on your expensive mechanic for every little thing.  You will save, time, money, stress and, did I mention money?!  This workshop will cover some or all of the following and we may use your vehicle (we'll try to do a little on everyone's) as a demonstration if you are willing:  Checking fluids, types of radiator coolants, inspecting serpentine belt, head light maintenance and cleaning, battery maintenance, how to jump start a vehicle, air and oil filters, tires:  pressure, changing, repair and when to rotate, proper placement of jack stands, oil change, spark plug changes, wiper changes, light bulbs, fuses and self safety inspections.  We'll meet in the parking lot of Advanced Auto Parts with the blessing of Manager Bob and if you need oil, wipers, fuses etc., you're conveniently there !!  There is no material fee with this course, but you may want to refill your wiper fluid or check the life of your battery, or buy a tire pressure gauge while your there go for it as you become inspired !  This class is for everyone, new or experienced drivers.  Bring a notebook and pen to take notes.  You will learn a lot !
