Course Fee: $145 for 4 weeks - Bring a drawing pad - 9" x 12" or 11 x 14 ", a kneaded eraser. All other materials are included for the first class, you can purchase art pencils if you like

Realist Drawing- Still life, Landscapes, Objects
Using black drawing pencils, vine charcoal sticks and an eraser, you will practice first the best way to make marks, along with learning to "see" and the techniques of how to draw lines, perspective, shapes, angles, negative space, light and shading. You will also learn proportion and positioning and the basics and nuances of the objects in front of you. Fluidity and stationary components, and how to portray energy in your work. You will be so proud of the way you'll begin to see the details, relation and positioning of the objects as they become compositions and designs. You'll learn to unravel the puzzle that is within traits of the negative space. Perfecting the art of drawing the object's features by practicing in 3 dimensions is the only way to go ! We'll draw from life using chosen objects, light and the uniqueness of your "voice" in which your work becomes exclusively YOURS !!
