Needle Felted Wooly Sheep ~ Beginners
Learn the enchanting skill of needle felting while creating one of these adorable little farm critters. It's such a satisfying process, creating these little darlings from fibers. Using wool mostly from our friend's sheep farm in NY upstate, and barbed felting needles, you'll recreate one of the cutest little baubles around. We'll take you through the process step by step building the body, head, features, ears, legs and finally giving them a thick layer of curly wool. Making a sheep teaches you various needle felting techniques which you can then apply to future projects. It's easier than you may think to felt one of these delightful characters, and with a little practice, you'll be doing it with speed and accuracy and develop your own unique style. They make great gifts for so many occasions or you can create a fun menagerie of your own !
