Paper Quilling ~ Festive Holiday Earrings
The Holidays are upon us, and just in time to show off your beautiful new earrings !! You'll learn the sweet art of Paper Quilling While making a really sweet pair of wreath or poinsettia or snowflakes earrings ! Quilling is a lovely filigreed paper art done by curling paper with a little split ended tool (originally a feather quill) and creating simple or filigreed designs. It's easier to learn than you think, but the possibilities are endless when creating earrings ! Craft one of these designs or make up your own. Any design can be in any color scheme. It's a wonderful, impressive way to make thoughtful, handcrafted gifts. A 15th century art of France and Italy used first by nuns to embellish religious objects, it has had a resurgence, and well it should as it is a lovely decorative art. Come and make your first quilled object. The sky is the limit on the wonder you can create with this simple yet amazing skill.
