Crepe Paper Parrot Tulips ~ Flower of the Month !
These big bold beauties are bursting with spring time !! This is one of the most satisfying skills you can have with paper. These flowers are remarkable little sculptures in their own right. They literally come alive in your hands. When seen in person, folks are amazed at their life like qualities. In this class we will trace, cut and shape the Tulip petals, sepals and leaves from paper and paint them using pastels, professional quality crepe paper, wire and any items that will add realism to our creations. We will then assemble the flowers, sepals and leaves using glue, floral wire, and floral tape. In a few short hours, you will have created a thing of beauty that will last. This is truly a unique and valuable skill, and can lead to years of beauty and creativity for you and anyone who learns it. Students will make up to 2 flowers, of your color choice.
