Crepe Paper POPPIES !!
These are so much fun to make, and look so real. Poppies are symbols of reconcilliation, rememberance and peace. They come in a variety of colors and have fascinating myths and histories. These flowers are remarkable little sculptures in their own right. When folks see them in person, they are amazed at their life like quality. In this class we will trace, cut and shape the Poppy petals, sepals we'll make the centers from fimo paper, thread and paint, and leaves using professional quality crepe paper, wire and any media that will add realism to our creations. We will then assemble the flowers, sepals and leaves using glue, floral wire, and floral tape. In a few short hours, you will have created a thing of beauty that will last. We'll make as many as time allows, and maybe we'll make a bud to go with the Poppy. This is truly a unique and valuable skill, and can lead to years of beauty and creativity for you and anyone who learns it.
