Flower Power ~ Flower Pounding on Paper
Tatakizome is an ancient Japanese way of transferring flowers to a fabric - usually silk and/or onto paper. It is a simple technique which renders gorgeous results. Create your composition on cottton rag watercolor paper, then tap your hammer to get gorgeous painterly results. Make cards, framed pictures, gift tags, the sky is the limit.
