Leatherwork - Pocket Purse - Saddle stitched/Button Studs
Learn the basics of Leathercraft by making a sweet little trifold button stud leather purse. With your choice of colors and textures from our leather stash, you'll make a unique and functional item. It's not difficult or strenuous and we've got all the tools and leather you'll need. If you're like me, you need lots of individual pouches in your pocketbook in order to find anything ! In this workshop, you'll design a simple trifold leather purse to hold those things that creep to the bottom of the bag (keys, lip balm, nail clippers, hair clips, band-aids etc.). You'll learn the elusive saddle stitch, and how to fasten a button screw stud. You'll love this experience and you'll be so proud of your creation.

Have your GPS take you to 101 West Rodney French Blvd. in New Bedford. Once there, please park on the end of the building AWAY from the main entrance. You'll see an ORANGE door that says Mattress Handup...enter there and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs...follow small yellow signs for NBACE. We're right around the corner behind the mural !!
