Nose Cozy Room and Linen Spray with Essential Oils
You'll feel that welcome warm, freshness of fall in the air with every spritz. In this workshop, you'll learn to make your own beautifully fragrant room sprays, using a liquid base along with warm and cozy essential oils, which are not only safe and effective at freshening the area, but they smell fantastic ! We'll make 2 bottles each, one for the home, one for the car, or wherever you want to freshen the air.
Karen was turned on to the effectiveness and wonder of essential oils by a friend years ago. She's been making bug sprays, tinctures and remedies ever since. She is also an itchy mosquito magnate and is armed with a bottle at all times, whether gardening, picking blueberries or just sitting at the beach, she is a prime target for flying vectors and this essential oil concoction is a fragrant refuge and tolerable alternative to deet and other harsh chemicals. Karen Charbonneau Zukas is a graduate of Tufts university and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston with a master’s degree in education from Western New England University. She is a recognized portrait painter and potter and former columnist for the Bulletin in Boston. She has been teaching various subjects, primarily advanced ESL, fine art, writing, test prep, debate and humanities; at universities, preparatory, public, private and international schools and community ed in Boston and now locally for over 35 years. She and her family moved back to the south coast in 2013. She is currently working on a book which is a series of short animal stories from her personal experiences. Have your GPS take you to 101 West Rodney French Blvd. in New Bedford. That's the opposite end of the building from the main entrance. When you see a sign for GLOBE FURNITURE, begin to look for a parking spot on the street... You'll see a school bus lot, the next door is ORANG rimmed and is door #1. Our sign for NBACE is YELLOW and over the door. Enter there and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs...follow small yellow signs for NBACE. We're right around the corner behind the mural !!
